The SIFER “Salon International du Ferroviaire” is an international trade fair for railway and transport technology, held every two years in Lille. As the most important trade fair of its kind in France, SIFER offers a platform for local and international companies to present their products and services in the field of railway and transport technology and to exchange information on current trends and developments in the industry. Since its creation in 1999, SIFER has grown into a key event for professionals from the rail and transport sectors, coming from France and other countries in Europe and beyond. The fair attracts exhibitors and visitors from various sectors of the railway and transport industry, such as manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, transport planners and operators. The SIFER product range includes a wide range of solutions and services relevant to the railway and transport industry, including rolling stock, infrastructure, signaling technology, communication systems, energy supply, maintenance and repair, safety technology, passenger information systems and much more. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 26. March to 28. March 2019, about 443 exhibitors from 48 countries on the SIFER in Lille. The SIFER will take place on 3 days from Tuesday, 24. June to Thursday, 26. June 2025 in Lille.
