The China Glass Expo is one of the largest glass fairs in Asia and is among the most important international trade fairs for glass production and processing. Founded in 1986, it is aimed at both professionals and public audiences. Although it primarily has a local scope - as evidenced by the majority of exhibitors being Chinese companies - this Chinese trade fair is increasingly being used as a platform by international companies. The China Glass Expo is held once a year in spring, alternating between Beijing and Shanghai. The main organizer of the China Glass Expo is the Chinese Ceramic Society (CCS), founded in 1945, which has its headquarters in the Chinese capital. The China Glass Expo is the only glass exhibition sponsored by the Government of the People's Republic of China and Chinese trade organizations. Europe, Asia, and the United States present the latest technologies, machinery, and glass products in the fields of architectural and industrial glass at separate exhibition stands for each country. Glass products for photovoltaic systems are also exhibited. The companies represented at the China Glass Expo include large enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses. In recent years, the number of start-ups attending the China Glass Expo has greatly increased. The China Glass will take place on 4 days from Monday, 26. May to Thursday, 29. May 2025 in Shanghai.
