Since rising labor costs represent an enormous challenge and burden for many companies, it is important to increase the productivity and quality through new textile technologies and explore new markets in order to establish themselves long term in the market. For this reason, participation in the ShanghaiTex is a must for every professional in the industry. It is an international exhibition of the textile industry and the most important trade fair in China for textile application technology, which takes place every two years in Shanghai. Shown are automated textile technology applications in different fields. In addition, the latest technical developments and innovations in the fashion and clothing industry are presented. But also in the areas of shoes, functional clothing, agriculture, medicine and health products and technologies are presented at the ShanghaiTex helping the textile processing firms to become more efficient in changing times. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 27. November to 30. November 2017, about 1158 exhibitors and 65400 visitors on the ShanghaiTex in Shanghai. The ShanghaiTex in Shanghai took place from Mon., 25.11.2019 to Thur., 28.11.2019 already for the 19th time.
